New Member Monday :: Meet Meg!

Cleverly contributed by Bec Hem |

This week's New Member is Meg from Rainbow of Chaos!

What is so fabulous about blogging? I first started blogging to try and improve my writing skills, but quickly fell in love with connecting with other people.

Where and when do you blog? Usually during my lunch break or in the evenings, but sometimes when inspiration strikes I have to blog then and there.

What's your blog mainly about? The tagline of my blog is 'The Skeptical Life of A Thirty Something Geek Girl' so it lets me blog about whatever I feel like. Lately I have been blogging a far bit about skepticism and pseudoscience which I have been really enjoying.

Where do you get your blogging inspiration/ideas from?? I get my ideas from all over the place - the newspaper, interesting links people send me, books I have read etc.

Favourite blog you've discovered on BlogThis? I am still working my way through all the blogs on here, so I haven't gotten a favourite yet, but there are some fantastic bloggers here.

What's been one of your favourite BlogThis Challenges so far? I really enjoyed the Old Photographic challenge as I love getting out my camera when I can.

Your guilty pleasure? Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream. It costs about $12 a pint so it not a pleasure I indulge in often.

Travel destination you must, must visit? I really want to see the Aurora borealis (Northern Lights), so I will need to travel to Northern Canada, Alaska or Iceland for that.

Your idea of happiness? Being with my loved ones.

Lifelong ambition? To keep learning new things and to keep finding life a wonder.

Say a big Blog This welcome to Meg, everyone! Head over to her lovely blog and say hello!
(now excuse me while I go find some of that icecream! Cookie dough?? oh yes!!)

Oh I saw a tv doco on the Northern Lights with Joanna Lumley the other day - looked like great fun :) I hope you get to see it one day!

Hi Meg!
Welcome. Tell us about your karate skills, or do you just have a fancier dressing gown than the rest of us!?
